Spinal cord disorders

To be approved under this listing, a claim must meet any one of the criteria below — and the medical records have to prove it.

    Complete loss of function for at least 3 consecutive months.

    In plain terms: Has a spinal cord injury or disorder caused complete loss of function — paralysis — for at least 3 months?

    Disorganization of motor function in two extremities resulting in extreme limitation, lasting ≥3 months.

    In plain terms: Has the spinal cord disorder caused severe motor problems in two limbs lasting at least 3 months?
